Antalya after veneers: a day-by-day plan
Veneers and a beach week go together in Antalya. The only things to plan around are hard food, cold drinks while your teeth are sensitive, and snorkel mouthpieces while you have temporaries.

- Veneers have almost no downtime. The rules are about your teeth, not your body: soft food while numb, care with hot and cold, and never biting straight into hard food.
- Weather
- Long, hot summers (often above 33°C from June to September) and mild winters. Spring and autumn suit a dental trip best.
- Getting around
- Taxis and the tram connect the old town, Konyaaltı and Lara. Many dental clinics include airport and hotel transfers.
Confirm with your surgeon. These are general activity limits from published aftercare guidance. Your clinic's written instructions always come first, and they may be stricter or looser for your procedure.
Recovery timeline
- Day 1
Teeth are prepared and temporaries fitted. Wait until the numbness wears off before eating.
- Days 2 to 5
You live with temporaries. They are fragile by design: no biting into hard food, no sticky sweets, and care with snorkel mouthpieces.
- Final fitting
Usually around days 5 to 7. Sensitivity to hot and cold is common for a few days afterwards.
- For life
Cut up hard or crunchy food and chew with your back teeth. Ask your dentist about a night guard if you grind.

Preparation day. Once the numbness wears off you can do anything you like physically. Eat soft food tonight and go easy on very hot or very cold drinks.

- Boat trips are the big sell in Antalya. Long ones include swimming stops and a buffet lunch, so pick short harbour cruises for the first days.

Pharmacies (eczane) are everywhere, and a rota of duty pharmacies (nöbetçi eczane) stays open at night, listed in every pharmacy window.

Questions
Can I go on a boat trip in Antalya after veneers?
Yes. Boat trips and swimming are fine. If the trip includes snorkelling, do not grip the mouthpiece with your front teeth while you have temporary veneers.
Can I eat dondurma with new veneers?
Yes. It is soft, though very cold food can sting for a few days after fitting.
