Dental implants in Istanbul · Day 7 of 7
Day 7 after dental implants in Istanbul
Stitches are often removed between days 7 and 10. Ask about the flight, hard foods and your next visit before you leave.
Today's rules
Eating
If your dentist agrees, widen your diet slowly. Still nothing hard or crunchy on the implant side.

Hot drinks, hot dishes and heat
Hot drinks are usually fine again; ask your surgeon. Keep saunas and steam rooms short or skip them this week.

Exercise
Normal walking is fine. No gym, running or heavy lifting in the first week.

Smoking, vaping and nargile
Do not smoke. It disrupts healing of the bone and gum around the implant.

Alcohol
Avoid it during the early recovery. Ask your surgeon when you can drink again.

Sun, sea and pools
No specific limit in implant aftercare beyond avoiding strenuous activity. Sit in the shade if swelling is still up.

Flying home
There is no universal rule. Sinus lifts, bone grafts and how your first days go all change the timing. Build your review appointment in before you book.

Confirm with your surgeon. These are general activity limits from published aftercare guidance. Your clinic's written instructions always come first, and they may be stricter or looser for your procedure.
